Lead '09On April 25, the Beta Xi Chapter hosted its first LEAD 09, an interactive professional development workshop. Attendees learned about various topics including strategic goal setting, networking for the next generation, living leadership daily, and millennials in today's workforce.  They also had the opportunity to network with LSU students, University of Phoenix students, and Baton Rouge business professionals.  

Since the day was a great success, the Beta Xi Chapter is considering hosting another leadership workshop in the fall.  Beta Xi thanks the guest speakers and sponsors of LEAD 09: Kent Blumberg, Lee Melancon, Martin Simone Jr., Alex Velasquez, PJN Properties, The English Tea Room, Homewaters Clothing and 3rd Coast Digital Films.
