Students today belong to a unique generation that has acquired the title "Generation Y" or "the Millennials." Generation Y is significantly different from past generations. They question generations before them, and they challenge the status quo. They want something beyond what is ordinary. Millennials are unlikely to respond to the command-and-control style of management because they need an environment that is more creative and adaptable to their independence. Because they strongly believe in their own worth, they have become high-performers. They are perpetually learning, so they have become exceptionally educated but are also high-maintenance. They are smart multi-taskers, and they are looking for a workplace that can keep up with them. Millennials seek efficiency and embrace change to achieve it. Generation Y accepts nothing less than success for themselves, and neither do the members of Pi Sigma Epsilon.
Collegiate members in PSE participate in planning, organizing, leading, and implementing a variety of projects, ranging from simple fundraising to complex marketing. They also partake in professional development programs, sessions, and activities that help prepare them for their careers. Members gain a business advantage for life as they grow professionally and learn from experience.
